Well, I've made some progress on my SMO "It's all Square". Only one week behind! That's pretty good for me. I think I've got four SALs started and several other pieces in the works. Others talk about stitching in a rotation, just doesn't work for me. I like to stitch on whatever I like, when I like. Sometimes this leaves me a bit behind on some committments tho.
We're leaving for the coast Monday morning and I've got several WIPs ready to take with me. I don't expect to be riding much as my back is already killing me. I'm as nervous as a cat about this trip though. It's the first time we're taking Moses (the cat) with us in the motorhome. So far he likes to sit in there but I don't know what to expect when the engine starts up. He's pretty laid back, so it should be ok.

This is coming along great.
ReplyDeleteI am the same when it comes to a rotation. I usually have to stitch what is talking to me at the moment.
Well, have a lovely time at the coast!! I'm sure Moses will do fine. Thank goodness it is a motorhome and not a car. :)
ReplyDeleteBarb ~ I really liked your blog. Your quilting is quite beautiful also. I enjoyed looking at your WIP.
ReplyDeleteI stitch much like you do ~ it has to talk to me first before I can work on it. I love your SMO with the pictures of the letters of the alphabet. Could you tell me how I can join that SMO? I am working very hard to catch up on my BOink. I still do not have any pictures posted but I have taken them. So when I get my printer up look out!
I hope your trip to the coast is fun and I am sure Moses will do just fine. He is a cute cat.
God Bless ~
Lenna
Good luck with your trip East! I hope Moses enjoys the trip. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely piece - what does SMO stand for. I like the idea of creating a mosiac with stitching.
ReplyDeletewhere did you find some of those patterns?
