Acceptance!

I have decided to accept that I will never be the kind of person that can keep a running dialog going on my blog. Not daily, sometimes not even weekly. There just isn't that much going on in my life and I've never been a good journal keeper. So I'm OK with this. I've been looking at all my favorite blogs and have noticed that for the most part nobody else is doing this so now I know I am among the norm. I'm happy there.

Shame on me! I haven't done one quilting stitch all week! And the cross stitching I've done isn't photo worthy. I've finished one piece for a charity auction quilt except for the beads. I still have 3 more charity squares to stitch, two charity quilts to put together and a slew of other projects backing up in my sewing room.

We had guests, Jim's DB & SIL. They brought their ATV and we all went riding on the logging roads and back country. It was a lot of fun but more dirt than I want to see again in my life. Their son & family came for dinner and we did a burger bar-b-cue (probably the last one this season as it got pretty cold even before the sun was down).

Well, I'm off to bed! Hope all is well in your world.

  1. I'm with ya on not having anything to blog about. I try to post once a week on my blog but I really have to rack my brain to think of what to write. LOL

  2. I am also not one that can write much. Most of my life is like a soap opera and no one would care so why write it. Any stitching or crafting is worthy of noting.

Just take things one day at a time and relax... enjoy doing what makes you happy. (a lesson I am trying to always remind myself of)
